The lion and sun goddess Sekhmet is powerful, majestic, mysterious, purifying, transformative, and above all, unconditional love. She, Bastet, and other feline beings are great healers. They remind us that we are light, whole, and multidimensional, and how we can harness the universal life force for ourselves and all living things. We must be willing to delve into our depths, see through old patterns, and leave them behind to be reborn into a higher knowing. They help us experience that we carry the divine and creative principle within us, just like a creator!

When Petra Stam was on a private visit to the Great Pyramid, a lion man and two cat women showed themselves to her. This was her first encounter with feline beings and the beginning of a profound, multidimensional journey of experience. She sees feline beings as ancestors who lovingly helped us develop a greater consciousness. They provided us with cosmic nourishment and instilled memories and potential in our DNA to lift veils and live our true potential. With this book, she helps us access their power, so we can see beyond the Earth and see ourselves in a broader perspective. You can always call upon their help, but only you can heal the root cause. This requires self-examination and self-knowledge, as well as taking responsibility for what you did, do, or haven't done.

About the author
Petra Stam (born 1968) grew up with spiritual parents and grandparents, so the mystical path has been part of her life from a young age. Nature and animals have always played an important role in this. During her work as a social worker, she completed the five-and-a-half-year training to become a classical homeopath and started her own practice in 2001. She also offers tarot readings and courses, incorporating spiritual astrology into her consultations. Symbolism, psychology, and mythology are also important areas of focus. In her consultations, courses, and workshops, she combines her knowledge with her intuitive gifts. With both feet on the ground and her head in the stars, she is a bridge or channel between the Otherworld and the human world. Her consultations and workshops focus on self-awareness, individuality, connection with one's own inner strength, and freedom.

Her first book was published in 2010, and since then she has regularly published articles and books on topics related to consciousness. All the books and the calendar feature her photographs, and for the cards, she designs collages that she creates together with her partner, Bryan Buehler.
