Jaap van Etten, PhD, was born and educated in the Netherlands. He received his doctorate in biology in Amsterdam, specializing in ecology. For the past twenty-eight years, he has focused primarily on metaphysical ecology. He studies and teaches about human energies, earth energies, subtle worlds, the energies of stones, crystals, and crystal skulls, and how these energies interact. He is the author of "Gifts from Mother Earth" and "The Phenomenon of Crystal Skulls." In this book, he focuses on crystal skulls and how their energies support us on our journey to remembering and becoming who we truly are. He has lived in the United States with his wife, Jeanne Michaels, since 1998. They currently reside near Sedona, Arizona.
